Thanks to the original interlocking design and special fixing kits, it is possible to stack two Coldtainer mobile refrigerators in order to obtain the "Combo" configuration which can be used on board commercial vehicles as a solution for multi-temperature or for particular needs for volumes and spaces managing.
The Coldtainers designed for the “Combo” configuration are the F0140, F0330 and F0720 models. The first two are suitable for tall commercial vehicles, such as the Fiat Ducato, while the F0720 model in the “Combo” configuration can be used mainly on board trucks or containers, and it’s produced with special metal plates immersed in the refrigerator’s body, to ensure perfect adherence and safe union of the two containers.
There are many advantages bring by the "Combo" solutions: from saving space in the load compartment of the van, which is thus also exploited in height, to optimization of the warehouse. By using two Coldtainer refrigerated isothermal containers in the “Combo” configuration it is also possible to carry out multi-temperature transport: for example, with an NDN model (up to + 0 ° C) and an FDN model (up to -24 ° C), fresh and frozen products can be transported simultaneously without any risk of contamination.
