The T0056 AuO and T0082 AuO Coldtainer models powered by a 24Vdc 20Ah Li-Ion rechargeable battery, are implemented with new features.
Until now, starting the refrigerator with the battery under charge was not possible, so it was strongly recommended to always have a second back-up battery. To overcome this limit Coldtainer has introduced for the T0056 AuO and T0082 AuO models the possibility to power the units from different sources, equipping the refrigerators with a red AP 12V inlet and a 3-position main switch.
Users can have now different options to power their units:
- Connection to the AC power supply (100-240VAC), to pre-cool the unit or to maintain the internal temperature, using the red / yellow interface to connect the AC / DC power supply to the red AP input of the refrigerator (the main switch must be set to II). The unit can therefore also operate without the internal Li-Ion battery.
- Connection to the vehicle with 12V operation, via a DC cable, which at one end will be connected to the AP inlet of the refrigerator and on the other to the vehicle battery (the main switch must be set to II).
- Powered by extractable Li-Ion battery (the main switch must be set to I).
Two versions are available: FDN up to -21 ° C, FDH from + 30 ° C down to -21 ° C. The FDN version is suitable for the fresh and frozen products’s transport, the FDH version with automatic hot / cold system is designed for pharmaceutical and biological products’ transportation in all environmental conditions.
